ARTIST STATEMENT

My decades long journey as a furniture designer/craftsman continues to grow and morph with my artistic heart. Educated in sculpture combined with my passion for modern furniture.

I create mixed media furniture utilizing found objects. This allows me to see with new eyes and express different ideas. I delight in capturing the beauty found in mundane objects. Employing the shapes; colors; textures with the intent to transform, often with humor, it's original function.
